Disclosure: I received a complimentary “AFORIZO Glass Teapot” through the Amazon Vine Program in exchange for my review. All opinions are 100% my own.
As the weather gets cooler, it is nice to warm up with a cup of tea. The “AFORIZO Glass Teapot” with its stainless steel infuser lets us experiment with different flavours of loose tea that are available to us at David’s Tea.
The teapot is consists of three parts, the pot, lid and infuser. The box also includes a wire brush cleaner, cleaning sponge and a flower-shaped trivet that adds a touch of whimsy to the teapot.
The glass teapot makes approximately 3 cups of tea. The clear glass allows you to to see when your tea is perfectly steeped to your liking.
The stainless steel diffuser has small holes to allow you to steep the perfect cup of tea every time. It keeps small tea leaves in place while allowing larger teas plenty of room to expand.
We use this little teapot on our electric stove. While it does make a nice cup of tea, it is not without its flaws. The metal on the lid and handle gets very hot during the heating process. Be careful not to burn your hand or fingers.
Unfortunately, ours came with a small chip in the spout. This most likely happened during shipping. The listing says there is a 2-year warranty and that they will replace any damaged item. We have not been in contact with the company as of yet to request a replacement.
Even with the little chip on the spout, our “AFORIZO Glass Teapot” does not dribble when pouring a cup of tea.
The teapot is very easy to clean. The diffuser can be removed and washed and the wire brush allows you to clean the spout.
Overall we are happy with this little teapot and will continue to use it during the cool fall season.
