Ubitree Bubble Wand

Since we have started camping 4 years ago, the kids love blowing the giant bubbles. Our first wand was made by my brother, but after it was stolen I was forced to make one on my own.  We strung a piece of cotton rope on two bamboo stick.  While the wand worked, it is no comparison to how well the “Ubitree Bubble Wand”.

The “Ubitree Bubble Wand” comes with the telescoping wand and black carry bag for storage.  The wand is 8.25 inches long when retracted for storage, and extends to a maximum of 38 inches for blowing bubbles.

The wand can be used at 6 different levels:

  • 8.25 inches
  • 14 inches
  • 20 inches
  • 26 inches
  • 32 inches
  • 8 inches.

I love that it can be adjusted depending on the size of the child using them.  The are quick to adjust. Simply push or pull on the end to the desired height.  I wish there was a way to lock them in place as they sometimes retract when pushed into the bucket.

We use a special bubble mix called “Galactic Bubbles” to blow our giant bubbles. We have found that traditional bubble mix will make bubbles, but they pop very quickly.  The “Galactic Bubbles” allow us to make gigantic bubbles that last long enough for little ones to chase and pop.

We received no instructions in our box, but it is quite easy to make giant bubbles with a little practice.

  •  Touch the end of the rods together and completely submerge the rope into the bubble solution.
  • Gently lift the wand from the bubble solution, keeping the ends together.
  • Slowly open the wand and walk backward.
  • Touch the end of the rods together to release the bubble.

There is a small bead on the rope, ensure that this is at the bottom.  It helps weigh the rope down so that you can open the rope into a loop.

The handles are made of a soft foam, with finger grips.   My previous wand left blisters and splinters in my hand, the foam on the “Ubitree Bubble Wand” make it much more enjoyable to use. The grips prevent the wand from sliding around in slippery hands.

Be sure to remove the wand from the bubble solution to prevent rust on the rods. Also ensure that the rope has dried before placing it in the case for storage.

The “Ubitree Bubble Wand” is an excellent choice for anyone who loves to make giant bubbles.  It’s comfortable design makes it easy to use and it retracts to a compact size for storage and travel.

*Disclosure: I received a complimentary “Ubitree Bubble Wand” through the Amazon Vine Program in exchange for my review.  All opinions are 100% my own.
