*Disclosure: I received an “Epson Eco-Tank ET-2760 All-in-One Printer with Scanner and Copier” through the Amazon Vine Program in exchange for my review. All opinions are 100% my own.
In a few short weeks, summer will be over and school will be starting! This summer we have been using the “Epson Eco-Tank ET-2760 All-in-One Printer with Scanner and Copier” to print games from TeacherPayTeachers.com, to help stop the ‘summer slide’ and prepare for the new school year.
The “Epson Eco-Tank ET-2760 Printer, Scanner and Copier” is easy to set up. It comes with a sheet that walks you through the set up process. The printer does not come with a print cable and can be set up using its Wi-Fi capabilities.
While the setup is easy, the LED display is small making it challenging to do some of the needed configurations. It does not have a touch screen, so you need to use the arrow keys and other buttons to navigate through the various menus. You can adjust the front panel up and down to suit your needs.
The “Epson ET-2760” comes with enough ink to print 7,500 pages in black or 6,000 colour copies, according to the documentation. Of course, your mileage will vary depending on your print jobs.
The printer comes with 4 bottles of ink to fill the Eco-Tanks; Cyan, Yellow, Magenta and Black. Each 502 bottle is keyed by colour so that you don’t accidentally fill the wrong one. If you have any leftover ink in the bottles, you can simply replace the cover and store them upright in a safe place.
I find that the printing isn’t as vibrant as some other printers. My pages appear faded and my photos print much darker than the originals. After printing several pages I had to clean the print heads as I was getting vertical lines in my print jobs.
The paper is form fed from the back of the printer. I love that you can do double sided printing, which great way to cut down on paper waste.
The scanning bed is large enough to easily scan a full sheet of paper. You can scan from the Epson 2 scanning software or directly from the machine to a computer or SD card.
There is a voice-activated printing option that I have not had the opportunity to test. According to the documentation you can print from Alexa or Google Home. I look forward to trying this out in the future.
This printer is similar to my “Epson ET-2750 Photo Printer, Scanner and Copier”.
The “Epson ET-2760 Color Photo Printer with Scanner and Copier” is a great home printer for its price point. Its wireless capability allows you to print from any computer or tablet connected to the network making it a great choice for any busy family.
