Brita Premium Filtering Water Bottle with Filter

During the summer months, my children and I are always on the go.  That means packed lunches and water bottles. Finding the right water bottles  can be a challenge. The “Brita Premium Filtering Water Bottle” is a welcome change from my stainless steel water bottle.

The water bottle comes with the 768ml hard plastic bottle, leak-proof cap, filter and straw. Be sure to remember to rinse your “Brita bottle filter” under a strong stream of water for 15 seconds  to wash out any carbon particles that may have become loose.

The filter easily drops into the straw and then the straw locks into the cap. The process only takes seconds.  It is recommended to replace your filter every 151L which is approximately every 2 months.

The “Brita Water Bottle” holds 768 ml.  A common recommendation is to drink six or eight 250 mL (8 fl oz) glasses of water which means filling this bottle up almost 2.6 times a day. This often means that we are filling it up with “city water” that often tastes like chlorine.  The filter removes this taste for us making the water more enjoyable. Remember when filling the bottle that water is often left in the straw.  There is a Max Fill line on the bottle to help you avoid overfilling.

The easy sip straw is comfortable to use. It does require a little extra effort to get the water started through the straw.

I find the bottle a bit difficult to clean, but all parts are top rack dishwasher safe. The lid easily opens by pressing the button on the front, and simply flip the lid down to close and lock it. I would like to see a lock that requires a two step process as I find this style often gets accidentally opened in backpacks throughout the school year.

The built-in loop on the cap makes it convenient for carrying on our daily adventures. It also fits in the built in cup holders in my car and children’s booster seats.

The “Brita Premium Filtering Water Bottle with Filter” is a convenient water bottle for the entire family to use.  It is just the right size for packing into backpacks and can easily be refilled on the go.
