WooBamboo Toothbrush – Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Woo BambooWe’re experiencing some allergy issues at home, and although we have transitioned to using more natural products in an attempt to reduce the allergens in the home our toothbrushes were never of the list to be changed out for a more natural product.

The great folks at WOOBAMBOO have created a more natural toothbrush.  Is is an alternative to the typical plastic or nylon toothbrush. Made from sustainably grown, organic, BPA-free bamboo, it is naturally anti-microbial, durable and biodegradable! WOOBAMBOO also sports the highest quality Dupont Tynex bristles which makes it perfect for cleaning your teeth.

The toothbrush fits comfortably in your hand.  My favourite is the standard handle brush.  The bristles are soft.  Instead of being held in place with glue, the bristles in the WOOBAMBOO toothbrush are held in place using pressure.  I’ve been using my toothbrush daily for a month and haven’t had any bristles fall out yet.

Initially I found the “feel” of the Bamboo is off-putting, but I quickly got accustomed to it.  I had concerns of the toothbrush rotting, but it dries quickly.  There is no special care required.  I treat it like all my other toothbrushes and simply stand it up in a holder when I am done.

The WOOBAMBOO toothbrush is a great alternative for your traditional plastic or nylon toothbrush.

  1. I am not familiar with this bamboo toothbrush but it is good to know that the toothbrush is organic and biodegradable. I agree that is a great alternative for your traditional plastic or nylon toothbrush. Maybe I will try the super soft kind because the bristles are softer compared to the standard version.

    1. I really like it and so does my daughter. It took a little getting used to at first, the wood texture of the handle was just different to anything I have used in the past 🙂
